Pt Operational Services (Pt Ops) is based in Pretoria, Gauteng. It is the proud operator of the N1N4 Toll Road and one of the leading private-sector toll-operating companies in South Africa. The N4 west of Pretoria, named the Platinum Highway, forms part of the South African section of the Trans-Kalahari Corridor linking South Africa and Botswana. Pt Ops has a 30-year contract with Bakwena Platinum Corridor Concessionaire (BPCC) which is based on a Private Public Partnership (PPP) model, to collect tolls and perform routine road maintenance on the N1N4 Platinum highway on its behalf.
 
Pt Ops is responsible for the following:

• Collecting toll fees from motorists,
• Effective traffic planning, management and manning at toll plazas
• Doing routine road maintenance on the N1N4 Platinum highway, and
• Maintaining the toll plaza buildings on these highways.

An additional service that Pt Ops offers is Route Patrol Services. Dedicated patrol vehicles enhance road user safety on specific toll routes by providing roadside assistance for mechanical failures, fuel shortages, overheating, punctures, flat batteries, and accidents. They offer fuel and water to help motorists reach nearby repair facilities or safety. In accidents, they provide essential medical assistance until Emergency Medical Services arrive and assist in contacting towing services. A Road Incident Management System (RIMS) ensures quick emergency service access to incidents.

Patrol vehicles are stationed in high-incident areas and work with route services and emergency agencies like RTI, SAPS, Fire Departments, and Emergency Medical Services. The units are trained in basic firefighting, first aid, traffic control, and RIMS. They offer first responder assistance and pre-warn motorists to prevent secondary accidents and clean up debris and oil spills. They carry essential medical supplies, tools, cones, and signage.

The successful relationship between Pt Ops and Bakwena ensures that the Bakwena N1N4 toll road is kept in good order until 2031, for the duration of the concession.
